We started life in 1996, initially as part of the parent Teacher Association at Twynham School in Christchurch, Dorset (hence the name of our group). Our first production back in 1996 was Robin Hood/Babes in the Wood.

Over our 21 years we have had the privilege to have been associated with Twynham School, St Peter’s School and with Bournemouth School for Girls. We are purely amateur, non profit group that has raised over £52,000 for local schools.

2018 Dick Whittington Co Directors Mark Mackinlay and Ken Dale.

This year we are delighted to welcome back Ken Dale who is Co-Directing the Dick Whittington script he wrote with a new Director, Mark Mackinlay.

Ken is celebrating his 20th year with TPG. During that time he has trod the boards playing a variety of roles including a few dames and one of the ugly sisters in Cinderella. He discovered his talent for script writing by chance but has now written more than 10 different pantomimes for our group. More recently he has been responsible for directing most of our shows.

Mark and Ken and the entire cast are looking forward to entertaining you with our version of Dick Whittington in January 2018.
